1 Blazer, 4 Ways

I decided to do a "Style File" on my youtbe channel where I took a basic item of clothing, (in this case, a white blazer), and I styled it 4 different ways!! I purchased the blazer from none other than Oz Jeans for only $30, and I absolutely love it!! Its the perfect fit and length for me!! I really had fun coming up with the styling for this video, and incorporating different accessories to personalise and individualise each style!! And as with all my posts I hope you can get some ideas and inspiration to go out and find pieces to incorporate into your own style!!

 Look 1 - Casual Chic

 Look 2 - Rocker Chic

Look 3 - Date Night

Look 4 - Going to an Event...

Ankara Print Maxi Dress

I bought this ankara print maxi dress in Ghana when I was there last Christmas and this is the first time I've worn it... I don't even know why it took me so long to wear it, cause its a gorgeous dress!!! Its soo comfortable, and I love the vibrant blue color with the hints of ankara!!!

I teamed it up with my Celine Inspired bag which I got from Little JC last year (I think...), and some fun accessory pieces.

"Menswear Chic"

So I created this look around the white blazer. I got it from Little JC (another favourite store of mine), and honestly, this blazer is the perfect type for me! What I love most is that the length of it is longer than most blazers I usually come across.
When I purchased the blazer, I knew I wanted to style it with an androgynous feel. So I decided to wear it with my polka dot chiffon collared shirt, and instead of wearing black jeans (which I usually would have done), I wore my bright read skinny jeans to inject some color, and my fabulous silver studded heels to add a bit of edge!

"Keepin it Neutral with a Pop of Color"

Over the last few months I've accumulated quite a nice collection of skater dresses, and they are my go to dress style! I've moved away from wearing very form fitted dresses because I don't like my dresses clinging to much to my body anymore...so I love the fact that skater dresses are fitted up top, then flow... They are so simple to wear and you can add some fun/character to it by adding a belt, that cinches in your waist!
So I purchased the dress from one of my favourite stores Oz Jeans, and this dress fit perfectly as soon as I put it on! I decided to throw in pops of color with these vibrant chunky corks heels/wedges this skinny orange belt!

"You Can't Go Wrong With Kente"

As mentioned in my last post, this is the first of a few style posts that will be coming up in the next few days...
So, I threw this outfit together a few weeks ago, and it was the fist outfit I captured on my new Canon 600D, so I was very excited!
I'm always a little hestiant to wear skirts that are this shape and especially this length because I think it can sometimes make my hips look alot larger...but the color of this skirt got me!! I paired it up with just a basic black tee from k-mart and my fabulous kente clutch which I purchased in Ghana last Christmas from designer Ani Siyah. I absolutely love this clutch because of the vibrant colors!! And you can never go wrong with Kente in my opinion...Its such a statement piece and it just pulled this look together perfectly!

Hey ya'll!!!! I'm back!!!! So as you know from my last post, I stopped blogging here because I wanted to focus on building my Youtube channel. As a result of this, I've now gained over 2000+ subscribers, I've been able to interact with so many amazing people, companies have reached out to me to review products, and I've made Youtube Partner!!! My channel has been thriving and I'm very pleased with the steady progress it has been making!

Recently though, I got an urge to start posting on my blog again!! Now this may be because I've started following some AMAZING blogs and have been really inspired by the outfit and style posts I've seen!! I also recently purchased an SLR camera (CANON 600D), so my love for taking pictures has grown, because of the amazing quality pictures this camera takes!
I feel like my style has evolved so much over the last few months because of all the style inspirations I have been immersing myself in. So over the next few posts, I will be showing some of the different outfit posts I have put together.

Also, I have to say a huge thank you to those of you who have been passing by my blog, despite it being inactive for so long! When I recently logged on and saw that I had over 30,000 views, I was quite shocked, yet pleased! So now that I have decided to start blogging again, I will certainly be posting alot about my personal style and fashion, and make it worth your while, each time you stop by my page :-)

Lastly, to find me elsewhere, you can subscribe to my youtube channel, where I do hair tutorials, outfit of the day videos, hair reviews, plus much more!! You can check out my tumblr, like me on facebook, and follow me on instagram @ odo_abena where you can see all my other outfit posts you have missed!! (All links are in the side bar).
