How to Rock 2 Blazers...2 Ways

Hey ya'll! Hope you're all doing :-) Just want to share with you these 2 blazer looks I wore a few weeks back. Blazers are definitely a staple in my wardrobe and I think it pulls a casual, look together to make it just that little bit sophisticated!

So with the first look, I went for a monochrome theme, with black pants, a white tank top, and my oversized white blazer. Actually when I first bought this blazer a few years ago, it wasn't actually oversized, but because I've lost quite a bit of weight this year, its now a little big, but I actually prefer how it looks on me now! I wore it with my suede Go Jane ankle strap heels, and added my black and white Celine bag, which I love! I threw on a gold chain link and leather choker necklace, an old pair of aviators,  and my tortoise shell River Island watch.

For the second look, it was all about the bold yellow blazer! I picked it up a few weeks ago from Oz Jeans and when I tried it on, it was a no brainer!! Perfect!! I paired it up with my new high waisted skinny jeans in the dark wash, which I'm in love with! Kept it simple though, with a basic white shirt a plain gold necklace, spiky bracelet and rose gold watch for accessories. For my shoes, I rocked my gold capped, black, Tony Bianco pumps. I was feeling a bit of a preppy vibe with this outfit, so I decided to add my Chanel to the mix, which was the perfect bag!
As you can see also, I have braids in my hair now! I haven't worn braids in over 10 years, but I decided I was feeling for them... So I spent 25 hours over 3 days to do it! YES... you heard correctly!! 25 hours!! Who does that?!? LOL. I still can't believe I did it either...lol. But for my first time ever braiding my own hair, I'm very pleased with myself! And I must say that I'm loving them! (Check out the video about my braids here)

||The ASOS Midi Dress||

Hey ya'll!!
I know its been a few weeks since I did my last outfit post and I apologise for that :-( I've been extremely busy with work and life... I recently just bought my ticket for my trip to Ghana in December to see my fiance, so I'm extremely excited bout about that!! Only 3 months to go!!
Anyway...this outfit post features two ASOS dresses that I'm loving! They are both basic black, midi length body con dresses that are very flattering on a curvy figures. Both of the dresses were on sale and I just had to get them! Actually the first one was I think

The first dress is a long sleeved, turtle neck. I accessorised with a bold geometric necklace which is one of my favourite statement necklaces and one of my ankara clutches. both of these added the perfect pop of color to a basic black dress. For my shoes, I went for comfort and wore my new chunky heeled  ankle strap sandals from Kmart with the pewter coloured heel! I love them, and they go with pretty much everything!

The second dress is sleeveless with a high neckline and a criss-cross, open back detail (see video). I added some gold accessory pieces including an ID necklace, and some arm candy pieces. The pop of color came in the form of my bright neon yellow ankle strap sandals.
