Re Bahia’s S/S 2014 Collection|| “Minimal Dreams”

I just had to stop by really quickly and show you some of my favourite pieces from Nigerian fashion brand Re Bahia. Their latest S/S 2014 Collection is appropriately titled 'Minimal Dreams,' and  I'm in love with the simplicity yet boldness of these designs. They are sophisticated and chic and really present the notion that 'less is more' perfectly!
My absolute favourite is the cobalt blue maxi with the pockets, followed by the white pants and blush pink top with the mini train!
Check them out below!

Taibo Bacar's Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Ever since discovering Taibo Bacar's 2013 Fall/Winter Collection earlier this year, I've kept my eyes on this amazing designers work! And lo and behold, his 2014 Spring/Summer Collection has not disappointed!! Its filled with gorgeous, elegant, drapy floor length gowns and maxi's, as well as midi length skirts and dresses, lace, sweetheart necklines, and open backs. His color scheme includes whites, blacks, deep hues, greens, mustards and earthy tones!! And I have to say that he really knows how to accentuate a womans silhouette, while keeping her classy, sophisticated and sexy!
I absolutely adore this collection!!

African designers are definitely holding their own in the fashion world, producing the quality of work that I always knew we were capable of! The types of designers that are emerging out of Africa can easily compete with the best of the best!!! #proudafrican

The Dure Collection Fall/Winter 2013 by Christie Brown

Ever since I discovered Ghanaian designer Christie Brown, she has been a favourite of mine! Her luxury, high end designs has certainly put Ghana on the map in the world of African fashion. Her use of prints, textures, the silhouettes and structures of her designs are always eye catching, and the new Fall/Winter 2013 Dure Collection is no exception! With this collection, her use of color, print, texture and fabrics exudes elegance and sophistication. She is no doubt one of Ghana's best designers!
This top and necklace...Love!!!

I see this dress in white, as an option for my wedding reception!

I love the Grecian feel of this dress!! Its simply Stunning!!
