The Cropped Blazer

Hey beautiful people! 

Its been a minute since my last blog post, but I'm back! 

So in this look here, I put together an all black ensemble with a pop of color, which was my mint green cropped blazer. I purchased it last winter, but this was actually the first time I wore it! I love the zip detail on it, because you can wear it as is, or unzip the bottom part to switch up the look! I added my pearl accessory pieces, and a beautiful pastel print ankara clutch which I bought from the Woodin store in Ghana. For my hair I've been rocking the half up, half down high bun like everyday and I've been loving it!

The Little Black Dress

The little black dress... a staple piece in every woman's closet.T hey come in different styles, lengths, cuts, and no matter your size, you can find one that will flatter your body shape.

I love this ASOS one for the fact that it's midi length, a turtle neck, and also a bodycon dress, and it definitely shows off your silhouette! 

I also decided to add a bold, beaded, Cleopatra inspired statement necklace to add some pizazz to the outfit. Kept my shoes simple with my black and gold heeled sandals, and finally got an opportunity to wear my ankara chain link bag which I got in Ghana. It was the perfect compliment to the look.

Black & Gold Affair

Hey lovelies!

Hope you're all doing well! So this outfit post here was all about the bold, gold accessories. I combined 2 of my statement necklaces to create this thick, chunky choker look. The rest of the outfit was pretty basic though, wearing one of my old black dresses, but adding my favourite gold plated belt to cinch in my waist. For my shoes and bag, I wore my gold heeled Go Jane sandals, and my black ASOS clutch with the gold handle, to keep with the gold theme. So yup! Definitely black and gold overload!

'Business in the Front, Party in the Back!'

So I continued my 30th birthday celebration with a Mommy and Daughter, joint 50th and 30th birthday party a few weeks ago!! 30 and 50 are such huge milestones, that my Mom and I decided we wanted to share it with all our friends and family! And it was an AMAZING night! The room was filled with so much love and positivity! It was also quite emotional with the kind and beautiful words others shared about myself and my mother. And I have to give a huge shout out to my brothers who were phenomenal on the night, taking care of all the food and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time (which is what my mom and I usually do)!

My dad even did his 1-2 step on the dance floor and he never dances, so that was definitely an indication that it was a good night! lol

For the evening, I wore a sexy, black open back peplum dress, with gold piping, which I purchased mid last year. I accessorised with gold (which you all know by now is my favourite), and a bold red lip.
