Just a quick outfit post showing how I restyled my black full midi skirt from www.choies.com
This time, I paired it up with a jacquard and leather dress, which I decided to wear as a top. I love the print on the dress, and also the leather back detail... it really complimented the skirt! For my shoes, I wore my one of my favourite old pairs from Scooter and decided on no accessories.
I know its been a minute since I did an outfit post! I've been a combination of busy and also a little under the weather...but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things!
So this post here is LONG overdue and I'm so glad to be able to share it with you all!
It features the same full circle midi/scuba skirt which I featured in the emerald green version (here). I loved the skirt so much I had to purchase another one! I never buy two of the same item, but this skirt is just so fabulous I had to get it in a neutral color for more versatility!
This time though, I styled it with an electric/cobalt blue halter dress (which I tucked in, to create the look of a top), and accessorised with this fabulous statement necklace piece! Seriously how amazing is the necklace though! I added my gold plated belt, some simple gold arm candy, and some black pumps with gold trimming! (Yes I love gold!! LOL)
The look came together perfectly! What ya'll think?!

So I'm really excited about todays outfit post, because features this fabulous emerald green scuba skirt which my bff got me for my birthday! The volume and drama of this skirt is everythang!!!! It's definitely one of those pieces every girl should own in their wardrobe! The day I wore this, and my mom saw me, she kept complimenting me on how beautiful I looked! And not that my mom doesn't compliment me, but the way she was raving on about it, I knew she loved it! lol
So, I paired the skirt with an off-white shirt, with the ruffled detailing which I've had in my closet for many years! Its so unique! For my shoes I wore my new white strappy sandals from Betts and added my clear perspex clutch which i got for $10 bucks!
This ensemble had me feeling very Carrie Bradshaw 'Sex in the City!' Loved it!
