The Prestige Classic Khol Liner

Before I started educating myself on make-up application, I remember thinking my complexion was the reason why I failed miserably whenever I attempted to apply bold, bright eyeshadows. I'd even settled with the fact that I'd only be able to ever wear neutral shimmery shadows, and that I could kiss colour goodbye... Fast foward a few years and thank you YOUTUBE and my favourite make-up ladies for adding to the already many 'aha' moments in my life!!

So recently I came across the Prestige Classic Khol Liner in White [E30]. It is a matte eye liner but actually works great as primer, or a base for your eye shadows.

 What I love about this product is it has a really nice creamy like texture, making it glide really smoothly and easily over your lids, without feeling like your going to puncture your eyeball...lol. Sometimes I shade my entire lid (to crease), other times I just apply a few strokes across my lids and use my finger to smear it evenly. The more I shade, the more vibrant the colour!!

I purchased it for around $10.00 at Priceline!! Thats right!! Very inexpensive yet very effective!!! So if you love using colour on your eyes like I do, this will really work in not just making the colour(s) pop, but also help your eyeshadow hold for the whole day, so you don't end up looking like you got beat up by the day...lol. Check it out and let me know what you think?!?!

My first post!!!

So I actually did it...I created my own blog!! Although I am a dedicated follower to my favourite blogs, this is totally not something I planned to do, cause I was happy being just a viewer. But then a friend of mine suggested I start my own blog, and I thought to myself, thats actually not a bad idea!! So I have to give a shout out to Akua Agyei for planting the seed!! Thanks gurl!!
And, this leads me to this moment right now...As I was trying to firgure out what on earth I would call this blog (which mind you took me a couple of days), I was also thinking about what I was going to blog about. After settling for the title "Makings of Me," I realised there is no right or wrong answer to that. People blog about their interests, their loves, their passions... and I know for a fact there are plenty of things that fall into those categories for me, and these are all attibutes that 'make me.' Keep in mind, I'm not a writer of any sort, so this whole blogging thing is very new to me..What I do know though, is I can and will use this blog as an avenue to put into words all the ideas that are constantly swimming around in my head, be it about fashion, beauty, hair, culture, inspirations, life, love, and friendships... So I guess we'll see how it goes...  :-)
